This specimen was lot 3551 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 100 CHF (about US$132 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''SCHWEIZ St. Gallen, Batzen 1816, St. Gallen. FDC. Kleiner Stempelbruch.'' ([[Switzerland]], [[Switzerland, St.Gallen|canton of St. Gall]], batzen of 1816, St. Gall mint. Uncirculated, Small die break.)"</blockquote> This type was struck 1808-17. Forty batzen made a thaler.
