This specimen was lot 2160 in Sincona sale 13 (Zürich, October 2013), where it did not sell. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "DEUTSCHLAND, Sachsen, Kurfürstentum, Albertiner, Johann Georg II. 1656-1680, Taler 1667. Dresden Sehr schön-gutes sehr schön." In addition to this type, struck 1658-80, the SCWC notes a thaler struck on quarter thaler dies ([[Saxony 1660-CR thaler Dav-7617A|Dav-7617A]]). The similar [[Saxony 1664-CR thaler Dav-7619|Dav-7619]] has a plumed helmet on the table instead of the electoral cap shown here.
