This specimen was lot 2146 in Sincona sale 43 (Zürich, October 2017), where it sold for 2,000 CHF (about US$2,387 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''Reuss, Ältere Linie, Obergreiz, Heinrich XIII. 1800-1817 Konventionstaler 1807. Saalfeld. Sehr selten. Nur 300 Exemplare geprägt. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. NGC AU55.'' ([[Germany]], county of Reuss, older line in Obergreiz, Henry XIII, 1800-17, convention thaler of 1807, Saalfeld mint. Very rare. Only 300 pieces struck, Very fine-extremely fine.)"</blockquote> This rare type was struck in small numbers 1807 and 1812. Another, similar thaler also exists (KM 93) with the engraver's name DOELL on the truncation of the bust.
