This specimen was lot 3254 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €1,900 (about US$2,644 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Friedrich Wilhelm I. der Soldatenkönig, 1713-1740. 1/2 Dukat 1726, EGN, Berlin. Münzmeister Ernst Georg Neubauer. GOLD. Leichte Bearbeitungsspuren, sehr schön-vorzüglich. Exemplar der Auktion Möller 3, Kassel 1989, Nr. 344.'' ([[Germany]], [[German States, Prussia|kingdom of Prussia]], Frederick William I, the Soldier King, 1713-40, half ducat of 1726, Berlin mint. Lightly tooled, very fine to extremely fine.)"</blockquote> This type is listed as rare. Issues of half ducats in Prussia, never prolific, terminated with this issue.
