This specimen was lot 2263 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €2,800 (about US$3,965 including buyers' fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''DEUTSCHE MÜNZEN UND MEDAILLEN · PFALZ, KURFÜRSTENTUM Karl Theodor, 1743-1799. Reichstaler Feinsilber 1751, Mannheim. Ausbeute der Wildberger Gruben. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Vorzüglich-Stempelglanz.'' ([[Germany]], [[German States, Pfalz|electorate of the Palatinate]], Charles Theodore, 1743-99, fine silver thaler of 1751, Mannheim mint, for the Wild Mountain mine. Scarce in this condition, extremely fine to uncirculated.)"</blockquote> Another thaler honoring the same mine was issued in 1758 ([[Pfalz 1758-AS thaler Dav-2535|Dav-2535]]).
