This specimen was lot 3154 in Sincona sale 18 (Zürich, May 2014), where it sold for CHF 1,300 (about US$1,713 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''Taler 1656. St. Veit. Fast vorzüglich-vorzüglich.'' ([[Germany]], county of Ortenburg, thaler of 1656, St. Veit mint, extremely fine.)"</blockquote> Altho count Christopher Widmann is shown in a bishop's dress, Ortenburg was not an ecclesiastical state but a district of Carinthia permitted by the emperor to strike coins. Gold five and [[Ortenburg 1656 10 ducats Fr-56|ten ducats]] exist struck from these dies.
