This specimen was lot 4023 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €320 (about US$419 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''LÜBECK, STADT. Reichstaler (32 Schilling) 1581, mit Titel Rudolfs II. und dem Abzeichen des Bürgermeisters Johann Brokes. Sehr schön.'' ([[Germany]], city of [[German States, Lubeck|Lubeck]], thaler of 1581, in the name of Rudolf II and the badge of mayor John Brokes. Very fine.)"</blockquote> Davenport lists this type for 1579-85 and 1587-89. A double thaler (Dav-9410) also exists.
