This specimen was lot 1008 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €1,100 (about US$1,421 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''LÜBECK, STADT Breiter Doppeltaler o. J. (1619/1627), mit dem Abzeichen des Bürgermeisters Alexander Lüneburg. Münzmeister Heinrich von der Klähren. R Kl. Schrötlingsfehler am Rand, sehr schön.'' ([[Germany]], city of Lubeck, undated wide double thaler, with the badge of the mayor Alexander Luneburg, mintmaster Henry of der Klähren. Edge crack, very fine.)"</blockquote> This type, along with the concurrent 1½ thaler ([[Lubeck (1619-27) 1-1/2 thaler Dav-LS340|Dav-LS340]]) and four thaler (Dav-LS338) pieces, is listed in the SCWC as rare.
