This specimen was lot 5699 in Künker sale 354 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €90 (about US$125 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''BRAUNSCHWEIG UND LÜNEBURG, BRAUNSCHWEIG-LÜNEBURG, FÜRSTENTUM, - als Georg I. König von Großbritannien, 1714-1727. 1/6 Taler 1723, Clausthal. Vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung eines Ingenieurs. Exemplar der Auktion Münzzentrum 105, Köln 2001, Nr. 3393.'' ([[Germany]], [[German States, Brunswick-Luneburg|duchy of Brunswick-Luneburg-Calenberg-Hannover]], as George I, king of Great Britain, 1714-27, one sixth thaler of 1723, Clausthal mint. Extremely fine.)"</blockquote> This type with the king's bust on the obverse was struck 1716-26. This denomination was also struck with a wild man reverse ([[Hannover 1720-C 1/6 thaler|KM 109]]), a leaping stallion reverse (KM 143) and a St. Andrew reverse (KM 144).
