This specimen was lot 32895 in Heritage sale 3042 (Long Beach, September 2015), where it sold for $998.75. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "British Colony. Edward VII 1/4 Piastre 1908 XF45 Brown NGC. The scarcest date of a three year type and seldom encountered in any grade." This three year type, slightly more than a British farthing, is scarce, along with the matching [[Cyprus 1908 1/2 piastre|half piastre]] and [[Cyprus 1908 piastre|one piastre]].
