This specimen was lot 54133 in Stack's Bowers Hong Kong auction (Hong Kong, April 2021), where it sold for $115. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "[[China|CHINA]]. Brass Yuan, 1982. PCGS PROOF-68 Deep Cameo Gold Shield. Struck to commemorate World Cup Soccer. A brilliant Proof with hard mirrored fields and frosted cameo devices." The regular copper-nickel yuan ([[China 1981 yuan|KM 18]]) was also struck in 1982.
