This specimen was lot 3155 in Sincona sale 57 (Zürich, May 2019), where it sold for 70 CHF (about US$83 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA, Ferdinand II. 1618-1637. 15-Kipper Kreuzer 1622, Prag. Sehr selten. Fast sehr schön.'' (Holy Roman Empire, Ferdinand II, 1618-37, kipper fifteen kreuzer of 1622, Prague mint. Very rare, About very fine.)"</blockquote> This type was struck at Kuttenberg (KM 287), Prague (KM 328, shown here) and Joachimsthal (KM 329) for Ferdinand II. As a kipper issue, it was lightweight and debased.
