This specimen was lot 613 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €190 (about US$246 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''Bavaria, SEIT 1806 KÖNIGREICH Maximilian I. (IV.) Joseph, 1799-1806-1825. Konv.-Taler 1803. Leicht justiert, sehr schön +.'' (kingdom of Bavaria, Maximilian Joseph, 1806-1825, convention thaler of 1803. Light adjustment marks, very fine or better.)"</blockquote> This issue of 1803 is among the last minted before Napoleon promoted Maximilian from Elector to King.
