This specimen was lot 3471 in Sincona sale 91 (Zurich, May 2024), where it sold for 1,500 CHF (about US$1,982 including buyer's fees). The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, <blockquote>"''SCHWEIZ Solothurn, Batzen 1622, Solothurn. Variante mit grossem Standeswappen der Vorderseite und Batzenkreuz auf der Rückseite. Sehr selten. Gutes sehr schön.'' ([[Switzerland]], [[Switzerland, Solothurn|canton of Solothurn]], batzen of 1622. Variety with large arms on the obverse and cross on the reverse. Solothurn mint. Very rare, Good very fine.)"</blockquote> This type was struck 1622-24, 1630-32, 1637-38 and 1642 and is fairly available in worn condition. A klippe version (KM 12) exists as well as a batzen with St. Ursus on the reverse ([[Solothurn 1622 batzen KM-8|KM 8]]).
