This specimen was lot 272 in Schulman auction 385 (Amsterdam, July 2025), where it sold for €320 (about US$453 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"ZWOLLE. 1/2 Leeuwendaalder, 1641, Silver Type IV. Ridder naar rechts achter stadswapen. Kz. klimmende leeuw, jaartal na omschrift rozetje DA: PAC: DOM: IN. DIEB: NOST. RRR. Een bijzondere variant met jaartal na het omschrift. Tevens een overslag waarbij het stadsschild van Zwolle zichtbaar is onder de leeuw. Curieus!! Zeer fraai. (city of Zwolle, half lion dollar of 1641, type IV. Obverse: knight stands behind the city arms facing right; reverse: lion rampant, date and rosette mintmark in legend. Very rare variety with the date after the inscription. Also a reversed coin with the Zwolle city shield visible below the lion. Curious!! Very fine.)"

Lion daalders were struck in most of the provinces that today make up the Netherlands with a few half daalders also noted. This type is recorded in the SCWC for Zwolle for 1641-52 and is fairly scarce. Another half daalder, KM 35 (date below lion) was struck 1637-44. Other half lion daalders are recorded from Zwolle until 1652. Zwolle is a town in the province of Overijssel.

Recorded mintage: unknown.
