This specimen was lot 259 in Schulman auction 385 (Amsterdam, July 2025), where it sold for €250 (about US$354 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"ZWOLLE. Leeuwendaalder, 1633, Silver Type I. Ridder naar rechts achter leeuwenschild met Zwols wapen op de borst MO. ARG. IMP. CIVI - ZWOL. A. L. IMP. Kz. klimmende leeuw met groot Zwols stadsschild op de borst tussen jaartal DA. PACEM. DOMINE. IN. DIEBVS. NOST. Kleine barst aan de onderkant van de munt. Zeer fraai. (city of Zwolle, lion dollar of 1633, type I. Obverse: standing knight faces right behind the city arms; reverse: lion rampant with the city arms divides the date. Small planchet crack, very fine.)"

Lion daalders were struck in most of the provinces that today make up the Netherlands. This type is recorded in the SCWC for Zwolle for 1633 only and is scarce. Other lion daalders are recorded from Zwolle for 1637-39, 1641-55, 1661-92. Zwolle is a town in the province of Overijssel.
