Sincona sale 102, lot 5618

This specimen was lot 5618 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it sold for 1,900 CHF (about US$2,864 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ. Zürich. Stadt und Kanton. Batzenklippe 1607, Zürich. Sehr selten. Fast vorzüglich. (Switzerland, canton of Zürich, klippe batzen of 1607, Zürich mint. Very rare, About Extremely Fine.)"

This klippe accompanied KM 28, the round issue of 1606-08. Double weight klippes are also reported in Numista.
