This specimen was part of lot 5583 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), which sold for 300 CHF (about US$452 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ. Zug. Stadt und Kanton. Schilling 1598, Zug. Die mindere Jahreszahl 9 - 8 im Feld der Wappenseite. Das Mzz. NW (ligiert) für den "Münzschreiber/Numerator" Caspar Weissenbach. Schilling o. J. mit MONETA TVGIENSIS. Lot von 2 Stück. Schrötlingsriss am Rand. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. (Switzerland, city and canton of Zug, schilling of 1598, Zug mint, abbreviated date on the obverse, and an undated schilling with "MONETA TVGIENSIS". Flan crack on edge, Very Fine-Extremely Fine, two pieces.)"

This type is listed in Numista for 1597-99 and undated. St. Wolfgang is depicted on the reverse.
