This specimen was lot 1431 in Künker sale 263 (Osnabrück, June 2015), where it sold for €4,600 (about US$5,942 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BISTUM Adam Friedrich von Seinsheim, 1755-1779. Konv.-Taler 1766, Würzburg. Herzogstaler. Sehr selten, besonders in dieser Erhaltung. Kabinettstück. Prachtvolle Patina, Erstabschlag, fast Stempelglanz. (Germany, bishopric of Würzburg, Adam Frederick of Seinsheim, 1755-79, convention thaler of 1766, Wurzburg mint. Very rare in this quality, cabinet toning, proof, about uncirculated.)"
