In 1920, the Westfalian town of Witten issued a set of five, ten and fifty pfennig notgeld featuring the city arms. These issues bear a strong resemblance to those of Lennep, also struck by Heinrich Messing of Menden.

Recorded mintage: 200,000.

Specification: aluminum, 18 mm diameter.
