Venice 1706 scudo
This specimen was lot 5053 in Künker sale 441 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €2,400 (about US$3,302 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"ITALIEN, VENEDIG Alvise II. Mocenigo, 1700-1709. Scudo d'argento 1706, auf das Bündnis zwischen Venedig und Graubünden. R Hübsche Patina, sehr schön +. (Italy, republic of Venice, Alvise Mocenigo II, 1700-09, silver scudo of 1706, on the alliance between Venice and Graubünden. Rare, handsome patina, very fine or better)"
This is actually a medal. Actual coins bore the denomination (140 soldi) but no date.
