United States 2018D dime rev DSLR.jpg

The United States dime has a proud history going back to 1794. Franklin Roosevelt has graced the obverse since 1946, altho the coin is no longer silver. This example, pulled from circulation, shows a conspicuous wheel mark on the reverse, a circular scratch caused by a counting and rolling machine. Altho some beginning collectors think it is a mint produced error, it is merely damage.

Recorded mintage: 1,006,000,000.

Specification: 2.268 g, copper-nickel with a copper core, 17.91 mm diameter.

Catalog reference: KM 195a.
