Although sharply struck coins are rare on a relative basis, enough Mint State coins exist that finding one can be done with patience. In the 1950's this was the one date, among Philadelphia cents of the early 1920's, that occasionally was seen in roll quantities, one or two at a time-with the pieces typically being a bright yellow orange in hue.
Most are weakly struck or from tired, overused dies. This is one of the most poorly struck Philadelphia Mint cents of the era.
