The 1835 LM-12/V-12 die marriage has an R-8 rarity rating. Two examples are known. The one pictured is now in an NCS holder (cleaned) and is the finer of the two known specimens.

The 1835 LM-1/V-2 die marriage has an R-2 rarity rating. This type, struck 1829-37 in large quantities, is readily available in many varieties.

Recorded mintage: 2,760,000 (all varieties).

Specification: 1.35 g, .892 fine silver, .038 try oz ASW, 15.5 mm diameter, reeded edge, designed by William Kneass.
