This specimen was lot 2427 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $204. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: Abdul Aziz, 1861-1876, AR 20 para, Kostantiniye, AH1277 year 2, 15% off center struck error, PCGS graded MS62." This type was struck years 1-7 and this is a common date in circulated condition altho we don't think we've seen an off center strike before.

Recorded mintage: 850,000.

Specification: 0.60 g, 0.830 fine silver.
