This specimen was lot 1900 in Steve Album Auction 55 (Santa Rosa, CA, May 2026), where it sold for $144. The catalog description[1] noted, "TURKEY: Abdul Hamid I, 1774-1789, AR 2 zolota (60 para), Kostantiniye, AH1187 year 5, superb strike, gentle toning, AU, ex Kenneth A. Bovenkamp Collection." This type was struck years 3 thru 8. Two zolota = sixty para = 1½ kuruş.
