This specimen was lot 45 in Sincona sale 31 (Zürich, October 2016), where it sold for 120 CHF (about US$143 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "OTTOMAN TUNIS | Abdul Hamid I (1187-1203ah/1774-1789ce) 8 kharub 1194ah (1781ce) Bi rare grade bold xf." This type was struck AH 1188-1202 in the name of Abdul Hamid I in Constantinople. It is very rare in nice condition. Eight kharub made half a piastre or riyal.
