This type was struck 1907-21 in the name of Bey Muhammed Al Nasir but to the French standard of the Franc Germinal. French control of Tunisia, never firm, collapsed after World War Two and the French withdrew in 1956.

Recorded mintage: 1,628,000.

Specification: 5 g, 0.900 fine silver, .134 troy oz ASW, reeded edge.
