This specimen was lot 2577 in Stephen Album sale 41 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2021), where it sold for $288. The catalog description[1] noted, "TIBET: AR 1½ srang, BE16-10 (1936), an attractive mint state example! PCGS graded MS61." This type was struck at the Tapchi mint years BE16-10 thru 16-20. It is among the more common Tibetan coins but the catalog values are no longer relevant; this example sold for fourteen times the SCWC value.
