This specimen was lot 1237 in Stephen Album sale 39 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2021), where it sold for $390. The catalog description[1] noted, "TIBET: AE sho, BE15-52 (1918), lion left, looking backwards; large size planchet, PCGS graded AU55, S." This type was struck year 52 only at the Tapchi mint. The subsequent type, KM Y21.1b, was reduced to 24 mm diameter.
