Stack's Bowers 2021 ANA sale, lot 46152

This specimen was lot 46152 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Costa Mesa, CA, August 2021), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "THAILAND. 150 Baht, BE 2511 (1968). NGC MS-66. Issued for Queen Sirkit's Birthday. A sharply struck little Gem with full cartwheel luster." Gold 300 and 600 baht were also struck on this occasion. This was the only time a 150 baht was struck in gold.

Recorded mintage: 202,316.

Specification: 3.75 g, 0.900 fine gold, 17 mm diameter.
