The early coinage of Thailand, or Siam, is a confusing mix of atts, fuangs, salungs and bahts. In 1908, the system was simplified to 100 satang = one baht. This type is listed for 1917-19 and 1924-25 (BE 2462 = 1919 AD). A few were struck in 0.500 fine silver. One salung = 25 satang = ¼ baht. This bust also appeared on half baht and one baht coins.
