This specimen was lot 984 in Sincona Auction 103 (Zürich, May 2026), where it sold for 3,750 CHF (about US$5,715 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"THAILAND Königreich, Bhumiphol (Rama IX), 1946-2015. 100 Baht o. J. (1951). Bullion loan redemption coin. Auf Avers Punkt entfernt. Diese Goldausgabe wurde am 11. Juni 1951 durch eine Verordnung des Finanzministeriums in Auftrag gegeben, um Anleihegläubiger zu entschädigen, die sich an einer am 17. Mai 1943 regulierten internen Anleihe beteiligt hatten. (kingdom of Thailand, Bhumiphol, 1946-2015, undated 100 baht, circa 1951, Bullion loan redemption coin. NGC UNC Details, Obverse spot removed. This gold issue was commissioned on June 11, 1951, by a decree of the Ministry of Finance, in order to compensate bondholders who had participated in a domestic loan regulated on May 17, 1943.)"
