This is a 1936 copper 1 fen, or "cent", from the Republic of China (Taiwan). The obverse features a sun with the text "中华民国二十五年" written right to left in traditional Chinese characters. The reverse features the ancient spade coin (an old form of currency) with the denomination (壹分) and stylized edge. Due to the large number minted, this coin is not particularly rare nor very notable.
