This specimen was lot 5333 in Sincona sale 83 (Zürich, May 2023), where it sold for 3,000 CHF (about US$4,015 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND, 25 Franken 2022 B, Bern. PLATIN. Auf das chemische Element Platin. Sehr selten. Nur 999 Exemplare geprägt. Polierte Platte. Im Originaletui mit Zertifikat. Es handelt sich um eine einmalige Ausgabe der Swissmint für eine Gedenkmünze in Platin. Weitere Ausgaben sind nicht geplant. (twenty-five francs of 2022, Bern mint, on the element platinum. Very rare. Only 999 pieces struck, Choice Proof, In original box with certificate. This is a one-time issue by Swissmint for a commemorative platinum coin. Further issues are not planned)."
