This type was struck 1878-1967 in silver and is still in production today in copper-nickel form. Few dates after 1936 are scarce and this one is common.

Recorded mintage: 6,549,000 plus specimens.

Specification: 5 g, 0.835 fine silver, .134 troy oz ASW, 23.3 mm diameter.
