This specimen was lot 23310 in Stack's Bowers ANA Auction (Denver, CO, August 2017), where it sold for $282. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. 20 Franc, 1949-B. NGC MS-66. An essentially flawless gem with golden honey patina." This type was struck 1897-1935 in large numbers and most dates are readily available today for their bullion value.

Recorded mintage: 10,000,000, a common date.

Specification: 6.45 g, 0.900 fine gold, .186 troy oz AGW.
