This specimen was lot 78568 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, November 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. Rappen, 1929-B. Bern Mint. PCGS MS-65 Red Brown." This type was struck at the Bern mint 1850-1941. This is a common date. Zinc rappen were minted during World War Two and when bronze rappen resumed in 1948, a modified design was introduced.
