This specimen was lot 74737 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2023), where it sold for $408. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWITZERLAND. 20 Francs, 1904-B. Bern Mint. NGC MS-62. Supremely alluring and enticing, this wondrous Art Nouveau rendition presents great color and brilliance." This type was struck 1897-1916, 1922, 1925-30 and 1935 in large numbers and most dates are readily available today for their bullion value.

Recorded mintage: 100,000, a better date.

Specification: 6.45 g, 0.900 fine gold, 0.1867 troy oz AGW.
