CNG Lissner sale, lot 1115

This specimen was lot 1115 in Classical Numismatic Group's sale of the Lissner Collection (Chicago, August 2014), where it sold for $96.80. The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. Gustaf V. 1907-1950. AR 2 Kronor. Stockholm mint. Adolf Lindberg and Alf Grabe, engravers. Dated 1928 AL G. In NGC encapsulation graded MS 62. Lovely brilliant uncirculated." This type was issued 1910-15, 1922-40 and many of the later dates are very common.

Recorded mintage: 160,319.

Specification: 15 g, 0.800 fine silver, .385 troy oz ASW, 31 mm diameter, this specimen Ø31 mm, 15.02 g, 12h axis.
