This specimen was lot 11408 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €85 (about US$89). The catalog description[1] noted, "SWEDEN. 1/3 Riksdaler, 1778 - OL. Stockholm Mint. Gustav III. NGC EF-45. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1778-89. This appears to be the most common date.

Specifications: 9.75 g, 0.878 fine silver, 30 mm diameter, reeded edge; this specimen 9.81 g.
