This specimen was lot 52277 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Pittsburgh, PA, August 2023), where it sold for $900. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Stolberg-Rossla. 1/4 Ducat, ND (1704-39). Stolberg Mint. Jost Christian. PCGS AU-58. A fairly SCARCE fractional gold issue, this very near-Mint specimen glistens with tremendous radiance and brilliance, with the gold offering forth a delightful burnished orange nature around the devices. From the Augustana Collection." The count issued another quarter ducat in 1704 (KM 9), also undated.
