This specimen was lot 5483 in Sincona Auction 102 (Zürich, October 2025), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted,
"SCHWEIZ. St. Gallen. Stadt und Kanton. Kreuzer 1583, St. Gallen. MO NOVA (VA ligiert) REIPVB Doppeladler mit Wertzahl auf der Brust, darüber Krone. Unten spanisches Stadtwappen, den Schriftkreis unterbrechend. Rv. SAN GAL ENS 83 X Doppelkreuz, die Umschrift durchbrechend. Von grosser Seltenheit. Flaue Stellen. Sehr schön. (Switzerland, canton of St. Gall, kreuzer of 1583, St. Gall mint. Obverse: double headed eagle with value on its breast, crown above, Spanish style arms below, interrupting the legend; reverse: double cross interrupting the legend. Of high rarity, some weakly struck areas, Very Fine.)"
