This specimen was lot 75049 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2022), where it sold for $2,640. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS ANTILLES. Saint Eustatius. Stuiver, ND (1797). NGC VF-30 Brown. A bold and clear "SE" countermark on a French Guiana 2 Sous dated 1789-A. The host exhibits even wear but substantial surviving design detail, and both host and countermark lack any distracting circulation marks."
