This specimen was the smallest denomination issued by Vietnam. It is attributed to South Vietnam in the SCWC but it was issued the year before the country was officially partitioned after the French defeat at Điện Biên Phủ. On the obverse, it features women hailing from the three different regions (South, Central (Hue), and North) of Vietnam.
Recorded mintage: 20,000,000.
