This specimen was lot 2345 in Stephen Album sale 27 (Santa Rosa, CA, January 2017), where it sold for $558.12. The catalog description[1] noted, "SIKH EMPIRE: AR nanakshahi rupee, Nimak, VS1904. Herrli associates the Nimak mint, which means 'salt', with the town of Pin Dadan Khan in the Punjab, Fine, R." This product of the Nimak mint is noted for VS1904-1905. Other mints included Lahore, Amritsar, Multan, Peshawar and Malkarian.
