This specimen was lot 46042 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Costa Mesa, CA, August 2021), where it sold for $528. The catalog description[1] noted, "SCOTLAND. Groat, ND (1357-67). Edinburgh Mint. David II. PCGS AU-53 Gold Shield. A decently struck Groat with full detail on the side-facing bust and a few spots of weakness near the peripheries. The surfaces are toned a dark gray throughout."
