Bamberg in 1789; Schwarzenberg is to the southwest

This specimen was lot 1566 in Sincona sale 76 (Zürich, May 2022), where it sold for 11,000 CHF (about US$13,352 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE - AUSTRIA. Schwarzenberg, Fürstentum. Johann Nepomuk, 1782-1789. Dukat 1783, Wien. Mit der Signatur VF (Josef Vinazer, Stempelschneider in Wien). Münzmeister Johann August von Kronberg. Sehr selten. Fast FDC. NGC MS63. Prachtvolle Erhaltung. (Austria, principality of Schwarzenberg, John Nepomuck, 1782-89, ducat of 1783, Vienna mint, with engraver's initials VF. Very rare, About uncirculated, Magnificent condition.)"

The SCWC lists a twenty kreuzer, thaler and ten ducat from this prince in 1783. The mint right was granted to the prince for his services to the emperor. Schwarzenberg was wedged between Wurzburg and Bayreuth and passed to Bavaria in 1806.
