This specimen was lot 75106 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Saxony. Bronze Commemorative 5 Mark, 1889-E. Muldenhutten Mint. Albert. PCGS SPECIMEN-62 Brown. Struck to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the House of Wettin. A commemorative with satiny, chocolate brown surfaces, attractive with bold strike and great eye appeal." This medal (not a coin, despite being listed in the SCWC) honored the royal dynasty. It was struck in silver and bronze (shown here).
