This specimen was lot 34723 in Ponterio sale 177 (Chicago, August 2013), where it sold for $317. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Saxe-Old-Weimer. Taler, 1598. NGC VF-30. Friedrich Wilhelm I with Johann III (1573-1602)." This type is noted for 1597-1601; confusingly, the 1601 issue is listed as Dav-7515.
